Title: Paint defect .....help please

Need help ASAP.....Vw have just admitted to me the the rusting on my sill is a paint defect that's only covered on a 3 yr warranty.............I need help as they are refusing to give good will

any rust underneath the paint is covered by there anti perforation garuntee which is 12 years i think  i think theyre trying to fob you off.
