Hi all,
I managed to break the clip on the connector that plugs into the MAF, I've got a new connector from VW ready to fit. Does anyone know what is the correct tool to press the wire clips out of the connector housing? I have no idea what they are called!

you'll need a pin removal tool, but there are many different ones for god knows how many electrical connectors, I'm guessing you'll need one with 2 prongs to push in either side of the connector? or use paper clips

Thanks mate, yeah it'll be the two for either side of the pins. Do you know what they are called? Is it just a pin removal tool?

this is a very generic tool as there are different sizes needed for different plugs/sockets but it'll probably do the job.

or grind an old fork down which is what I did before I bought a proper set of tools
