Evening all!

Thought i'd sign up on here and get posting!  I've just bought myself my first ever Gti!!!!  Red mk5 5 door.

So far I'm very impressed!  Such a nice ride, deals with b roads so well.  I've sold a S3 8l and this is the replacement!  I'll post some pictures and please point out things that catch the eye!

This is what i know so far... standard car...extras are xenons, satnav.  Other things it has...TPMS, auto rain sensing wipers, auto lights( are these extras or standard?)

Getting the cambelt done asap as it was last done 56,000 miles ago and 7 years!  Will get a full service on it at the same time including spark plugs (what plugs should i use? OEM, which are what?)

Other things i'm looking to sort...

- rusty front wing, hoping to get this done under the anti-corrosion warranty..any tips would be great!  Only one wing is bubbling though, the other is fine, I'm thinking that maybe this has been replaced before?
- Some body work scratches
- alloys refurbed, no rush as I fancy going 18" but the tyres on the 17's are brand new eagle asym F1's..nice tyre!

Thanks for the welcomes folks!  Can't decide whether to colour code the black trim and bumper???  Might just do the rear, with the exhaust bit left black.. Hmmm

I've been contemplating colour-coding the rear bumper for nearly a year now!

Let me know what you decide.
