Has anyone tried these LED low beam headlights (or similar)?

It would be nice to ditch my halogens seeing as I have nice white LED side lights. Don't want the hassle of HID install.

They're for off-road use only. They might work well with Hella xenon-look or Depo (not as nice as Hella) headlights. I'd only use them with projector lenses.
-
They don't look safe as the depth of the headlights won't cater for the read if the bulbs. :stupid: design and fitting them in standard lights will blind other road users.

I looked into this recently. If you have the standard H7 headlights the way that the power is connected from the wiring to the bulb on the factory fittings is a quarter turn. You cant do that with this type of bulb.

All cars on the market with standard LED headlights use forward-facing LEDs.. I can't imagine these side-facing led's giving off anywhere near as much useful light as even an aftermarket HID kit

The latest versions are starting to get there, but not HID levels......yet. Unfortunately wont fit on ours cars
