Hi, this is my first modern car 2006 black 3 door dsg
I'm the 3rd owner full service history but it's a high milage one
133k
I wish I bought a low milage one as its cost me a fortune already
New inlet cam ,chain, tensioner
I had a remap and found the fuel pressure was low
found the cam lobe was new but the cam was worn the Chain was a Chinese one
Also replaced pcv and main thermostat
Now fixed with genuine parts from Tps
Have added a ram air induction kit Also about to add a decat when I getmy car back
It's at a body shop
Vw Birmingham have done the front wings under the warranty
Which is a good result
Even after all the work so far I still love it
I will post pics when cars back

Welcome along dude. Sounds like you have got all the import bits n bobs sorted quickly so fingers crossed there will be many more trouble free miles to come!
