Anybody have any experience of these, have been passing time on the net whilst dancing on ice is on  came across ROTA alloys and they seem quite cheap and really lightweight, are they any good or a no no??

I had a set of rotas when i first started to modify my scooby, they were ok, my mate has them on his Evo now, they are a predominantly Jap wheel like Poverty said

On the US forums tho they hate them - "friends dont let friends buy Rota's" is the caption you get all the time, they feel the quality of them is rubbish and if you had an accident etc you'd be F***ed.....

If you can afford a better wheel then i would get them mate, you get what you pay for in the end

but its only my opinion  :happy2:

Imported to the UK by a company called rare rims about 5 minutes from our workshop, they have literally thousands of wheels in stock - without doubt they are THE best selling wheels in the Japanese car modifying world, and have been for some time.

And yes we can get them at good prices if anyone finds a set to take their fancy - www.rarerims.co.uk

They are generally regarded as replica wheels, they copy the designs of the main Japanese manufacturer's and come in at half the price.

I've had one buckle before, but then it was on a drifty spec Silvia.
