I would say the AC panel is causing most of your faults but the intake manifold flap is most likely a blown fuse possibly due to the above panel.
-
Touchwood. It was the fuse in the engine bay f24, it had blown. Changed it and now doing another scan.
-
If the fan goes faulty it blows that fuse.
-
All faults now gone apart from the aux heater. Any ideas on where the fuse is or test it somehow with vcds?
-
It's easier to follow the wires from the heater box to fault find this- Google aux heater and you'll be shocked of how many cars have went up in flames for loose connections to this heater element - also Google retrofit auxilary heater install and there's some excellent how too's.
Finally, it's a cracking extra/feature in winter for heating your car since it's a diesel but the elements go faulty and are really expensive to replace.
-
I did an output test and got volts but no current???
-
Either element open circuit or bad connection.
-
Looks a little bit of a bitch to remove.
-
My 2.0 tdi blew blew a fuse it was intake manifold flap internal fault.it is same fuse as air on and cooing fans.
-
my aux heater hasn,t worked for years;its a fiddly job so left it for now
-
My aux heater works though. But vcds says its defective.
