Title: ABS / ESP / Tyre pressure lights on and ABS not working
Post by: Flint on March 30, 2016, 07:21:56 pm
Hi All

A while ago I had the typical sensor issue on the drivers side rear wheel. Had the sensor and the bearing replaced and all was fine for 6 months. I've now got the sane fault code on the same wheel.

Should the ABS work with this issue? I tested mine today and mine isn't working.

Thanks

I've had similar issues. Its probably the ABS ring on the inside of the hub out of tolerance. If it's only 6 months old, take it back to the garage. Should have a years warranty.
Is the bearing genuine?

Thanks

Yes it was a genuine vag bearing. Do you know if the ABS should still work with this issue?

Cheers

Yep - ABS light shows fault with the system. What is the error code? I guess its something like intermittent signal?
