So headliner is sagging around the front sunglasses holder.. :(
Any idea where I could purchase the entire new headliner.?
anyone have an idea of price? VW surely gonna want a small fortune.
-
Tps is your best bet for brand new. Your looking between £300-350 depending on spec for example colour, 3/5door, sunroof etc.
-
Parts lookup is suggesting the anthracite 3-door lining was dropped in January 16 with no replacement.
RRP was £351.93+VAT :scared:

Could always try seeing what a highly regarded/recommended auto upholsterer could do and how much they would charge to give you the same outcome whilst also giving you more choice options on materials / colours etc.
Edge Automotive
Plush
MJ Interiors
If that would be a cheaper option and something that would interest you, i'm sure other members on the forum would help you with recommendations in your area for car / auto upholsterers then you can find out costs etc and compare to the figure (£350+) mentioned above...

Ive spoken to a few auto upholsterers and they all cant get the exact match for the headcloth.. Plus they want €400 to re-trim.
Id rather buy a full new headliner and redo it 100%.
Ill check those part suppliers.
BTW its a 5 door Gti.
thanks for the replies so far :)

Put a post up on facebook and a mate of mine has contact in local VW garage..
€360 all in for a new Headliner from VW..
Think Im going to run with this unless I can find one in a breakers that is 100%

get some spray adhesive and just repair yours. it will be much cheaper.http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/Smileys/newsmileys/smiley.gif

it wont work..
Ive had an auto retrim company look at it. :(

How bad is it mate? Any chance of a picture. I used to have a 3door cossie and the roof lining sagged really badly and I was able to use spray adhesive like mentioned above. I still see the car now and the lining is still holding on :happy2:
