Title: When Does the Turbo Kick In ?

As above. New to car so still learning lots -is there a rough RPM?

If it's a k03 car (GTI rather than Edition 30) it'll start to spool just under 2000rpm. You won't necessarily feel it 'kick in' til 2500-3000rpm when it's at full boost.

Also it depends on a few factors like how much load the engine is under.

And a remapped car will feel different coming on boost to a standard car.
