I think I know my settings but I want to run it though you guys to make sure it's sound like it's not going to fry my engine I think they are B8 T5 F5 and my other question is since the belt had been done my idles funny all most like a misfire could this be the remap being deleted back to worst than standard ?

It'd help to know what kind of fuel do you use? What mods do you have? Stage 1,2, 2+, 3?
For example in my stage 2+ Cupra I run with 9 boost, 5 timing, 9 fuel., before the intercooler upgrade i ran with 9-4-9, at stage 2 I ran 7-4-8, etc.
For a stage 1 GTI i belive u can run 7-6-9 with good pump fuel.

I don't now I've looked at other peoples fueling and they all seem to be about 9 :/

Fuel is usually set to 9 as the hpfp struggles in the midrange with any more.

You need VCDS to check the cam timing and for data logging before you start playing with the SPS. Boost 6 Timing 5 Fuel 9 should be OK on Vpower but you need VCDS

Vcds clone for 20 quid would do the job if money is tight. A revo dealer will charge for setting it back up mind.

Before you do anything I would get the idle misfire resolved.

Fault code ready determined it was a camshaft sensor so going to scrappy tomorrow to find one if any one knows any cars that have the same sensor like seat lean fr and stuff would be great

Is it the sensor or is it the timing? Have they snapped the camshaft adjusted on the top of the engine?

Most of the older TFSI use the same part as far as I know, Leon, Golf, A3, Skodas etc.

I dobt think thy have snapped any thing indefinitely feels like a sensors as the car kicks on and then holds back

It could be the camshaft adjuster on the top of the engine, easily done. I doubt a sensor fails on its own at the exact same time you have the chain and belt changed. Hope you get it sorted anyway

The camshaft adjuster? I think I had this out last night is 2 t20 screws on the chain side and a shaft thinking pulls out and there are like holes in it ?

Yep, the thing in the middle of the picture below. Helps to work with faultcodes, but you can check the functionality of this valve with VCDS and check the timing with it.

What is the fault code? Are you sure its not just the code that is thrown up when the timing is a tooth or two out?

I'm sure it's a p0340 code and the guy checked the timing 3 times because he thought it was out as well

I still suspect its the timing, cam chain timing if not the cambelt. VCDS or a similar device would tell you for sure. Cheaper than replacing a part that costs £120 ish new!!

Well that right amid where can you buy vcds and how to you use it ? Sorry for the million questions it's just a pain when you pay some one to do a job and the car doesn't run right offer :/

Take it back and leave it to them to sort it then mate, they obviously haven't done it correctly. Where are you located? Try and find someone local with VCDS and get it checked - 5 minute job

They said that problem is nothin to do with what they have done and I was like well it ta fine when it came in and know it's running like a bag of sh*te and I'll try fine some one with vcds to try get a diagnostic if the timing is out of the sensor is f*cked

So iv changed the n205 valve and no joy sill throughibg up the p0450 code to do with timeing the only thing it can be is the revo map being deleted ! Or the timing is out ? And good / recommend be specialist in the central belt of Scotland ?
