Title: Rear dash cam...
Post by: AndyBrown on April 03, 2016, 04:08:57 pm
Has anyone installed a rear dash cam to their golf?

How did you run the cable? Ideally I don't want to have to remove the full headlining.

If your getting power from the fag socket no need to go overhead. run the cable under the steering wheel down the footwell trim. All the sill trim can be moved and the cable tucked in behind without removing including the C pillar. watch the air bags. EASY does it. Piece of stiff wire will help drag the cables through :happy2: Did this for my dab antenna. Wonder if there is a wifi camera suitable

Cheers mate.

In the end I've ran it out the fuse box along the door seal up and tucked in the b pillar across the window and then across the back of the headliner.
