VCDS cable is around £250. The software is free but only works with a genuine cable.

Its a bit of a faff to setup. If you are half capable with a computer you will be fine.

Easy enough to set up, and the cable is around £280 these days. Software is a free download from the website which will only work with an official cable

Works on my MacBook Pro. I used boot camp and just googled a Windows 10 product key and have had no problems yet. Been using it about 3 or 4 months

Taunton. Just after it to put a code in for my mfd2 head unit to accept my aux port I think that's what it needs to accept it.

Have a look here for owners in Somerset :- http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,88875.0.html

There is a member in Taunton with vcds listed.

I live in Somerset but near Wincanton if that's any good?
