Title: RNS315 Code

I removed the factory fitted 315 from our CC this evening to sell and realised there's no code in any of the manuals.

Would any VW dealer give this out? Can they do it over the phone with the chassis number or am I going to have to reinstall it?

Seen a few people on here say they were charged, but when I came to sell my factory fitted RCD510 I just called up my local dealership (didn't buy the car from there) handed over my Vin and they got back to me with the code 5 minutes later FOC. Was Peter Cooper Southampton so may be worth calling them if your local refuses.
