Title: Wash Wipe Not Working

Front wash wiper is not working and hasn't been since I put the front end back together on my car 2 week ago. The "hood open" light is also constantly on. Would I be right in assuming the two are linked? The wipers operate OK if I turn them on but when I pull the stalk to wash the screen nothing happens I cant even hear the pump operating.

I seem to remember trying to test my washers once, but they wouldn't come on unless the bonnet was closed, so yeah, I'd say there's a link there.

Know the wipers don't work with the bonnet open,might be the case with the washers

Wash wipe does not work with the hood open so theres either a wiring fault or faulty bonnet switch.
