Title: Grease dump on undertray
Post by: raz469 on April 13, 2016, 07:22:11 pm
Hi guys,

I was c4'ing my grills yesterday (waste of time i think) and saw this on the recently cleaned under tray. How worried should i be? Picture taken from rhs grill.

The car was in the garage a couple weeks ago but don't remember greasing anything like that. Cv boot grease is black.

Thanks in advance

Intercooler oil seal weeping/leaking would be my thought.

That's just body cavity protection wax, or 'waxoyl' if you're old school.   Leave it well alone.  It stops things from rusting!  Looks fairly recently sprayed on there though.
