I noticed today that when i turn right and accelerate slightly i get a knocking from gearbox/driveshaft passenger side only but once i have drove the car for a while it dont happen. Its only when cold almost like the passenger driveshaft is pushing into gearbox
-
Check the bolts haven't come loose.
CV joint?.
-
Checked the bolts earlier all nice and tight even spun the wheel and no noise but soon as i driver her noise is there then goes after a few miles
-
Something must be loose but I'm afraid I couldn't pin point it wohout being there.
does it sound more like a clatter clatter clatter noise?.
-
I I just took her out again and from cold the noise was there almost like imaging holding a screwdriver over a sprocket. It's strange it rolls round no noise slight acceleration under load noise there sounds from gearbox. Then few miles and once warm perfect no noise no matter how I driver her
-
That's very odd indeed.
Can you upload a video of the noise with any luck?.
-
I will see if I can get a video problem is it's not mega loud so may be hard as my car ain't the quietist I just thought can't be a major problem if it stops when warm almost like gearbox oil gets nice and warm and noise stops maybe
-
Have you tried the subframe bolts? Very common problem.

Is it a click clack click noise? Dry cv boot?

If that's the case I'd get the oil level checked just to be sure it's not low.

It's like a clicking noise I suppose but surely if dry cv joint it wouldn't stop after few miles

You could do with getting it up on a ramp or it'll just turn into a guessing game.
Not sure exactly what it's called but try and find somewhere with one of the ramps that puts each wheel under stress/load laterally. They make it easy to troubleshoot things like this.

Did anyone find a solution for this? I have something similar and its only when taking off slowly, as described above a click-clack noise, but after she gets running it stops.

Any chance you recently changed your lug nuts?
-
Friend of mine had a very similar problem, changed the flushed out the gearbox oil and relaxed with fresh oil and additive and hey presto! Good luck

I haven't changed them, considering I bought it a few months ago perhaps the previous owner did.
How would the lug nuts cause this?
