Title: Changing brake discs and pads
Post by: howie1987 on April 15, 2016, 10:15:44 am
Am changing brake discs and pads at the weekend on my edition 30.

Is it just a matter of changing them and topping up my brake fluid. or do i need to plug it in to vdcs?

Idealy i was going to change the brake fluid aswell but am reading  i need vdcs which i don't have.

You don't need to VAGCOM to change the fluid. only if you want to drain the ABS Pump.

When you push the pistons back, you will need to open the brake res. when you push the piston back the fluid will go back to the original level
