Title: Interior trim question
Post by: fazi123 on April 16, 2016, 07:55:17 pm
Hey Guys,

I have an early 06 Golf GTI .

I went to have my highline cluster upgraded by @RetroRaz (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=6494) - top man btw! and I found my buttons on my wheel and the rocker switch on my wiper stalk couldn't navigate the menu on the highline cluster, so I decided to keep the midline until I get a solution for it to work.

I'm tempted to buy a black steering wheel as I can't find any grey buttons, but what else will look out of place? Is it just the steering wheel which was grey and changed to black or were there other things?

Thanks,
Faz

Everything. You would have to change the entire interior.

Only kidding, guess you currently got the 'rubber' type buttons?

Haha, way to give a guy a heart attack!

I have the rubber type at the moment and I can only find the new style in black ....

So is it definitely just the wheel that changed?

I was in the same situation, depending on your level of OCD I just went with the black buttons photo to show:
