Need an Android based app to remotely activate my horn & or headlights on the A3 (2010 CR170 Black Edition).
Is there anything that does this either by Hexcan, bluetooth or other connections?
Thanks :happy2:

Blimey..... I don't think that's gonna be an easy thing to setup unless there are aftermarket standalone units that do it.

Theres an app called carista that does all this. needle sweeps, horns, lights etc
it works from a Bluetooth dongle but don't get the cheap one like I did. spend at least a 10er otherwise it wont work

yeah that's the one. its free to download but they charge you for each tweet. like needle sweeps would be 2quid etc.
I brought the cheapest dongle I could find (3 quid I think) As a result it doesn't work witrh carista but it works perfectly with torque app Pro.

He wants to be able to sound the horn or make the indicators go off remotely rather than code them in
You would need aftermarket 3rd party unit.

Yeah misunderstanding here as Jay said, I don't mean coding @Paradox1 (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=9564) - regards coding, I've hooked VAGCOM up to everything, from Lupo to V10 R8 :innocent:
This is a "I'm not in the car but want to be able to use the controls" thing.
Know of anything Jay @xjay1337 (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=7542) ?

No mate I'm afraid.
I suspect a fancy (problematic) aftermarket alarm would offer what you want.
-
I remember the top of the range Clifford alarms have similar functions that your after mate

Surely a universal remote central locking kit would do the job?
This one states it will beep your horn (5 second google search - sure there are others/cheaper etc.)
