Title: RCD310 DAB Radio - Advice

Hi Guys an Girls,

Im looking in to upgrading the stand radio in a 2007 edition30 too RCD310 DAB radio, wood I need to upgrading the bus gateway in this as I had a 2006 Gti in wish I did the same an had the battery drain problem till I got a new one, Is it the same on all MK5 Golf's..   :thinking:

later ones did not have the battery drain problem, not sure on the ed30, but I would say say, you will still need to upgrade the canbus

When I had the gti, it was registered sep07 and didnt need a newer can. Not sure when the build date was  :thinking: if you know anyone with vcds they can scan your car OR call up your local VW dealer and speak to the parts dept, give them your reg number and they can tell what version is  :happy2:
