Title: Replacement number plates
Post by: Rasco on April 28, 2016, 08:55:29 pm
So I'm replacing my front grille and my number plates are looking tired so thought it was time to renew them at the same time, anyone replaced there's? Where is a good place to get legal plates. I'm not after anything to radical but an OEM + Look might be nice? Any pics from anyone who has changed them would be cool, at the moment I'm just thinking of getting the GB euro badge on the left for any euro trips

Cheers

Yeah I really like the idea but how easy is it to mount them on the curved front panel? Have you fitted them?

The resin plates look nice as well but don't know if they're legal or not. Sticky foam pads definitely work.

Gel ones do look nice but I've stuck to pressed plates for years now. some illegal german font ones go great with some cars  I wonder why my front one isn't on the car yet

Just ordered some pressed metal plates! Thanks for the advice, I'll post a pic or two when I'm done
