Thanks guys again for the compliments.

@Hurdy

I really like Bilsteins.
I had some B8 on a Peugeot 205 Dturbo for 80 000km/50k miles, years ago.
Previously, I had some B8 fitted on my A3 for 20 000km/12k miles.
And then I changed them for B16 PSS10.

Bilstein are taut and firm and gives very good ride feeling.
They have 45mm shaft while most of the other brand have 22mm.
They can feel a little bit ‘’nervous’’ compare to others, as they are High pressure chocks.

B16 are not adjustable B8.
Damping is more subtle and ride more supple while still very taut and firm set on hard and little bit more comfortable set on soft.
B8 can feel ‘’bouncy’’ (I don’t know if it’s the good word) some time to time.

Both are fantastic around the Nürburgring.

I tested drive the VWR Golf GTI 300R demo car.
It is fitted, I think with the VWR fast road kit which is KW V2 if I’m right and stock sway bars.
The cars felt a little bit softer and more comfortable than mine. But how would it be with the same sway bars?

That’s all I can say.

Oh no!!!

I have just find out today that Öhlins is going to launch that http://www.roadandtrackbyohlins.com/ (http://www.roadandtrackbyohlins.com/), within a few month, for MKV platform.
And it drives me crazy!!!! :jumping: :rolleye:
Full kit will be incl VAT 2300€ about 2100£

Öhlins are best in class in Motorbikes.

I had Öhlins shocks on my Yamaha R1 when I used to ride on tracks and never had to fault them.

It seems that many WRC Rally cars are fitted with Öhlins too.

This kit is pretty good value compare to what öhlins use to charge.

It isn't what Jonnyc plan to fit on its crazy ED30?
