Title: Car cutting out issue??

Is there any technicians available to help. Having an issue with my s3 8p every time I release the clutch pedal the car cuts out instantly. Like someone flicking a light switch? No coughing and stuttering just instantly cuts out. Does it both in gear and in neutral? Has anyone seen this before?
