Looks OK, but to be honest with you an OE valve is just fine for most cars. The bit about letting air in is a little bit over exaggerated, likely based of a theory with no real world proof...

I am gonna get one for my next service. Hot oil pissing out at 100mph is annoying and messy.

I had these fitted to my previous car (non Vag) and they worked very well, made one man brake bleeding a doddle, not cheap though, I think a full set cost me over £100 and you have To pay extra for the protective caps, but I would consider fitting another set to the golf.

OP is referring to the oil sump plug valve

No I fitted the brake bleeders as well as I always liked to know my brakes were bled thoroughly and I never really trusted garages to do them. I do also really recommend the oil drain valve as well though if you do your own oil changes as it makes it so quick and clean and prevents you accidentally stripping the sump plug thread through over tightening.  :happy2:

I read the description and you have to pay extra for the valves so I won't bother  :signLOL:
