Was it aligned?
This ^^...
Also was it a new or second hand item?

Was all dine perfect happened hours after it was fitted been advised cleaning turbo vanes
-
I'd still point to the "new" TB. As you didn't have this problem before did you? So probability swings towards that as you should chase that as your first port of call.
-
Cheers I'll get it plugged in tomoz and update you all

I assume we are talking GTI? If so, DO NOT take any advice from whoever told you to clean the turbo vanes :fighting: :fighting: :fighting: :signLOL:
Don't just 'plug it in' for a generic fault code scan.... Get it on a proper tool like VCDS and start looking at the live data. You can see exactly what the throttle body is doing just by looking at this data. A fault code scan alone is useless half of the time

Throttle body wires! I had my throttle body replaced by VW under warranty recently same issue booked it back in and advised me it's the throttle body wires this time, my warranty doesn't cover wires apparently so there going to replace as a gesture of good will because I have a service pack with them which is great! But check those wires first as they tend to fall short especially if your on stage 1

Took to my local garage it come up with mass airflow flap failed or something like that was cleared fixed and now running smooth ( for now )

That's not a solution though mate. its only a matter of time before it comes back.
As for the maf sensor..... Id imagine it would be a loss of signal from the intake to the intake manifold. was the throttle body cleaned before installed? Check wires as they ca get hot and brittle.

Your right light came back on already I'll take it back in to my mates garage this time as hes back the throttle body doesn't seem to be the problem I'll put the proper code up when I've got it :)
