Post by: royjh on May 17, 2016, 04:26:36 pm
Can anyone help me with this issue please? Goes into limp mode of its own accord?

I had similar issues with the warning lights coming on intermittently, however, car wasn't going into limp mode.

Mine was the ABS speed sensors - replaced them and it was fine after that.

I'd suggest you get it hooked up to VCDS and get a scan to see where the fault lies exactly.

I had this very recently but again no limp mode. I pulled the two green fuses in the engine bay fuse box to inspect them. (Think its the 2 on the top right as you look at the fuse box, look in your handbook it says in there) anyway one of the fuses hadent blown but one of the blades looked like it was starting to melt!. No idea why it didnt blow but i swapped it for a new one and touch wood the problem hasnt come back. Its been about a month now.

Gotta be worth a look. I have pictures if you want if im not making sence  :happy2:
