Title: car feeling very laggy

basically car felt like she was holding back at low revs then all of a sudden she just goes bear in mind she is stage 2 r-tech with 265bhp, I later realised she was struggling abit as the rear caliper was sticking so just put it down to this, I have now replaced with a new caliper so that rules that out now, done a bit of research on here and now thinking maybe dv could be abit worn/split. all mods was done by previous owner and new dv was fitted when mapped but cant remember when this was done, long story short yes I should just get under and check dv but keep reading about the gfb dv+ being better suited to stage 2 mapped cars, can anyone recommend one and best place to buy one from as also seen fake ones are around thanks in advance.
