Title: Another dreaded Air Con Compressor thread!

Hi Chaps.

First Post. Had my 56 plate GTI for almost 2 years now and i absolutely adore it.

So apologies for ANOTHER Air Con post but mine packed up last summer and i'm told that a bolt has sheared on the compressor which is a fairly common fault. Can pick up a replacement from the scrapers for 60 quid or so (400 plus new from VW) but need to give them a part number to guarantee suitability.

VIN Number is: EDIT!

Does someone have a part lookup they can check for me please?

 mouse take your vin number off the site and I'll pm him for you .

Hi buddy. The catalogue is bringing up 2 choices for your car. Both are for the bwa engine

1K0820808B and 1K0820808BX

Sorry I'm not sure it just lists like 5 but those 2 are the only ones highlighted for your car
