Title: Funny 'Computerish' Noise Coming From Right Side Wheel Arch

As above really, i keep hearing a noise coming from the wheel arch area (Cannot put my finger on the exact location) and it almost sounds like a computer grinding away in there???

The other night my partner came home from work about 6 hours after i had last driven the car and it was making the funny nose, its only making the noise every now and again.

Has anyone ever has this noise or know what it might be?

Hi I'm guessing your alarm siren is either not working or about to fail on you. It's mounted under the arch liner in an alloy box that's riveted to the body so if it is the cause you'll need to drill the rivets out to gain access.
Replacements are cheap enough.

Ah ok thanks mate! as it happens i noticed for the first time this weekend that my alarm was going off when i left a window open in the sun but the siren wasn't going off

Ill take a look at that

Not a problem what so ever.now you've mentioned the above and no sound with alarm going off. It's definitely the siren.

Nice! That's one lovely little job I should have got round to by now. But I'm getting new wings in a few weeks, so hey ho.
