Title: Help! Any ideas??
Post by: puna on May 28, 2016, 01:13:47 pm
I was having trouble removing one of the rear calipers, so loosened one of the nuts connecting brake line to the caliper hoping to relieve the pressure on the caliper. This didnt help in the slightest, the caliper is still firmly on and now the bolt won't tighten. It keeps slipping back out after a thread or two and as you can see in the picture below, brake fluid is leaking everywhere. Any ideas? Should I just tighten it as far as it will go and seal it with something? I'm guessing the only way to properly fix this is to empty the brake fluid and re-thread it, but I don't have a re-thread kit right now....

Any comments are appreciated!
