Title: BKD inlet manifold cleaning
Post by: Vwgtiking on May 30, 2016, 12:41:39 pm
After reading that nearly everyone uses mr muscle to clean the diesel inlet manifold I though I would give it a go. I bought some mr muscle but it says not suitable for aluminium. The manifold is made from aluminium? Is it safe to use?

I've used MM foam to clean the inlet manifold of my tt mk1 BAM engine straight into the inlet part throttle 2500k ish and it does work with no issues. Took the inlet off a year later and no issues. Car ran smoother than my tfsi with 76k with the tt being 140k att the time.
