Title: Q for those running spacers
Post by: BeezerDiesel on January 16, 2010, 12:38:59 pm
Can those of you who are running/have run rear spacers tell me if the rear hub has a big enough spigot to run a non hub-centric 8mm spacer?
It's throwing it down with rain outside so I'm not brave enough to whizz a wheel off to look.

Thanks  :happy2:

if you use 8 mm spacers your wheel will not locate on the hub , you can use 5 mm ones with spigot rings this will locate on to the chamfered edge of your wheel , not purfect but better than not at all
much better ot get wheels with 42-45 et off set to bring them in to the arches :happy2:

Cheers Candy Turbo.
My summer wheels are 8x18 ET44 (VZ033s) but I'm running Black Detroits at the mo for the winter and they sit in the arches a bit too much for my liking (probably better aerodynamics though and won't chuck so much cow poop up the sides of the car!) at 7.5x18 and ET51.
I saw some cheap H&Rs in 8mm but I'll hold out for some slightly wider hubcentic ones I think.  :happy2:
