Anyone no cheapest place to get any of these looking at all these upgrades to tidy engine bay

Grunt I'm only going for them as there red and am looking at tidying my engine bay with small mods to add colour etc ,I no a good new set of plugs n coil pack can increase mpg and release a few more horses

Yes it's just the colour of the r8 coils and nothing more. You will get a better spark out of them as they'll be new but no more than the black coils.  :happy2: @Grunt894 (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=16141)

I believe the resistance is lower in the r8 coils, negligible amount no doubt but better all the same.

Thread revival!

Rather than start another thread thought I'd ask in here first.

It would seem the top half of my oil cap has come loose and gone AWOL, I have a mk2 Leon with the standard engine cover fitted, am I right in thinking one of the after market (Porsche,R8) caps doesn't fit with the standard cover in place ?

Any info much appreciated

Apparently the Porsche one will fit the top but if you remove that tubing it won't fit but some say the r8 one fits straight on the cam cover. Someone tell me otherwise.  :happy2:

That's my dilemma, I want the one that's fits the standard engine cover/filler neck
