So, i am sure this has been done a billion times before, but i am curious to know....

I really like the 18" diamond cut monzas. Mine a little worse for wear and have found somewhere that can do me a deal on some refurbished ones. I don't do a lot of miles and the car lives on a drive so i can probably keep white worm at bay for a while.

I really like the look of them and 19" would also, i think, look really good on the golf. They also remind me of the mk4 wheels. I am now torn. According to the seller they are 13kg~ per rim, only 1kg heavier than the 18" monza's.

thoughts? should i go 19" or stick to refurbished OEM 18"?

Then I'd be going for the 19" Gun Metal alloys. They look nice and would set off nicely against a black GTi

Theyre nice looking wheels. I have anthracite wheels on my black GTI, it looks great.

yeah, that's my concern.... heavier wheel than the standard monza's. Only by 1kg per wheel but it all adds up when it's spinning about. Concerned the ride will be harsher too, but then newer GTI's now have 19" wheels. so buggered if i know!!!  :thinking:
