Title: Photos of lowering springs please.
Post by: ReDBull on June 08, 2016, 01:20:24 pm
Hi there. I'd like to lower my car but I don't think I want to go down the coilovers route. Has anyone please got any photos of lowering springs on their car and what do they ride like.
Thanks in advance :happy2:

you're most likely going to end up with H&R or Eibach

I'll be fitting H&R springs on my 6R soon, so keep an eye out on my build thread for some before and after pictures. My advice with fitting springs is also fit replacement top mounts on the front struts as well, worth upgrading to something like the RS3 top mounts which are a little stiffer than Golf items and give a further improved feel to the car.

I'm now kind of swaying towards coilovers. Can you recommend a set that have a good ride. I'm not looking for out and out performance or mega lows. I'm more looking for a good ride and a set I can get that one finger gap between tyre and arch.
I've been think H&R.
