In the MK5 General area, underneath the 'Spotted' section, should we now have a 'Stolen' section?
would allow a common place for stolen car details to be put?
only a thought, not a nice topic, but possibly of high value for those that have suffered, and to those that are buying second hand cars too
Each thread title posted should include the cars reg, colour and area taken, then the post itself contain the details and discussion for it

Tricky one is this :chicken:
I would like to hear more opinions on it but my initial feeling is to not have it on a number of grounds.
So what does everyone else think???

Yes i a tend to agree with you on this PG. I dont think the benefit of having it outweighs the downside. :happy2:

can you elaborate a little?
i'm thinking more of helping keeping an 'eyes out' for the cars
what's the downside?

^^^ Things like while it's a fact of owning a car such as a Golf GTI that it's going to be more at risk of being stolen than say your neighbours Kia Pride.
Also for the ever growing number that have had this happened to them it may well be a another unwanted reminder of what happen to them when they come on the site seeing a section about stolen cars.

Ah right you are, suppose it is quite a negative thing isn't it, hadn't really thought of it that way

I would honestly agree about the negativity. I had a look on the Focus ST websites and there were loads and loads of threads about stolen STs. It put me off ever thinking about buying an ST ever again.

....Then please continue being so and never stop. Evolution and progress cannot exist without the honest feedback which results from being outspoken.
