Title: How to replace rear heater vent?
Post by: GTIEagles on June 16, 2016, 10:02:12 am
I have just noticed one of the heater vents on the armrest is broken. You can buy them new for a tenner on eBay but wondered how you actually remove them?

Has anyone replaced them before?

Took mine out in 2 mins last weekend while I was playing around looking for a new iPhone connection spot.

Clips out easily and a handful of T20 torx secure it in position.

Whereabouts are the torx screws? I couldn't see them when I had a look.

I just went out to the car and had a look.

Flip down the cupholder and there's 2 T20 screws in front of you.

The whole thing now, the entire plastic face all the way up surrounding to the back of the arm rest then clips off which gives you access to the side of the cupholder where there are two more screws.
