Post by: inch_speller on June 17, 2016, 09:22:40 pm

Worth the money?

pipe work looks way too thin imho but it's a very good price for what it's worth.

2.5inch pipe.
Should be better than standard though right?

I was thinking the cheap metal and how thin it will be compared to a let's say milltek. not the diameter.
In terms of sound yes I'd say so.  :happy2: try one and let us know  :jumping:

So better to do this
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/76mm-3-inch-Stainless-steel-Downpipe-with-sport-cat-for-VW-Golf-VI-GTI-Cabriolet/322141106847?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140122125356%26meid%3D5eee302bb024455e81e5b3f556110bc6%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D2%26sd%3D322079052172 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/76mm-3-inch-Stainless-steel-Downpipe-with-sport-cat-for-VW-Golf-VI-GTI-Cabriolet/322141106847?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140122125356%26meid%3D5eee302bb024455e81e5b3f556110bc6%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D2%26sd%3D322079052172)

Then a rear section -
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221019560208?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221019560208?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)

Or is this not worth it?

Looking to do the exhaust on a budget

Buddy,  the first ink is better so don't get that rear section as I had one amd it's poor quality. Won it in budding for £134 stupid price buy I got pissed off and sent it back twice because quality issues.

I have the rear section that you linked and have had no issues with it in the last 8 or so months, obviously I could have got lucky though. I also paid a similar price to r5gtt.

If you're looking for a cheap exhaust, you thought about buying a used one? Providing you can collect, this one seems pretty cheap for what it is: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222152009967?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

some guy just sold a milltek for £350 after I told him I'd have it if he saves it for me two weeks time and he sells it to someone else making silly excuses as to I didn't reply quick enough lol man I've a baby boy and family to look after so can't exactly reply on time unless I'm on the site.  :stupid:

Don't know what your problem is ?
I simply asked you to message me back if you was 100% sure you wanted it? As you started to make offers on the price. you didn't reply so I sold it to the next guy who was interested in it and could pick it up the next day.

Not fitted yet but will keep posted
Are there 2 exhaust sensors on the AXX motors or just one as there are 2 threaded holes
1 just after turbo and another towards the cat

I'm sure they all have two as most cars of today carry one post cat and one pre cat.
