Title: Removing folding mirrors for standard items

I have puddle lights on my Edition 30 mirrors and they also fold. I don't need either of these features on my track car and would really need to remove the puddle lights to save my small lightweight battery. I could just unplug them but i could also sell them for standard items to free up a few quid.
So apart from the mirriors, I assume any will do from any MK5 golf? Also do i need to keep the window motor/control unit with my folding mirrors? Are they a package as such?
I guess any MK5 window/control module would do also?
