Hi. Can anyone help me. My drivers door has about a 5mm gap at the top wher the rubber on the door meets the roof. It aligns perfectly all around the door but just doesnt seal at this point. If I push on it at the top corner it closes the gap. Is there anyway to adjust it like bend it or something or am I best taking it into a bodyshop. Cheers

Years ago you put the window down and pulled the top of the door in but the golf doors are pretty strong and you have to watch you don't crack the paint

I did think of doing that. Might have a crack at it tomorrow as there is no paint on the top section apart from on the inside. Cheers

Be careful when pulling as you don't want to snap the frame.

It might be an idea to undo the bolts and try realigning the door (with help) , I need to do that on mine as the lower part of the door catches the door still ever so slightly. Not sure if it's that simple though.

Mine was like this. I wound down the window, stuck my leg in the gap (maybe use something other than a leg) and pushed on the top corner of the door. I took me 2 goes to "adjust" it enough but now it lines up perfectly; took all of 30 seconds to fix something that had annoyed me since buying the car.
(I take no responsibility for any damage you cause should you decide to give this a go)
Good luck

The girlfriend recently damaged her car and water is now getting in at this corner.
Might attempt the leg in and bend method later!
