Hi All
I purchased my Mk7 GTI from a VW dealer a couple of weeks ago, and have fitted different wheels. To fund the new wheels, I need to sell the original VW Austin wheels. However, I have a few options when selling, and would be grateful for members' thoughts!
VW dealer own bodyshop prepared the wheels, as a result, 2 appear not have have needed anything (very slight spoke scratches, not kerb marks, just general wear and tear). One has had a very good small repair, the other has been refurbished by painting (so good, I didn't even notice).
All wheels have original 225/40/18 Bridgestone S001 tyres, with 6/7 mm thread (not many miles covered at all).
Do I advertise as above, remove the tyres and sell separately, or have diamond cut refurbished by the very respected Lepsons (£450) first?
Any thoughts appreciated.

I would be selling as they are now.
-
Thanks - certainly less hassle!
Now, what might they be worth, including the tyres....?

Sell as they are

Sell as they are now.
You will NEVER get your money back after a refurb
And they're a PITA to sell tryres and wheels seperatly and also you'd have to pay more out to have them removed.

All very good points - thanks.
I'll put together a For Sale thread shortly.
