Title: Golf GTI MK5 Air Conditioning ISSUE!!!!

I've got a Golf GTI 2005 reg and my AC isn't working. I took it to Kwik Fit for a top up and they turned round and told me they could not refill it. They said either the compressor or the pressure switch isn't working. The reading on the gauge they said was low but not at zero which would indicate hopefully no leak.
When I got home I carried out some research on compressors and the pressure switch. Firstly I started the car and took a look at the compressor and it was happily spinning round. checked the fuses and they all looked fine. The left fan wasn't working so Im a little stuck. Has anyone got any ideas?? Thanks.  :thinking:

Change pressure switch first as it's cheap
