Title: 1st post! Reasonably priced garages in East Sussex for cam belt replacement?

Afternoon everyone, cracking forum from what I've seen so far! Looking forward to getting stuck into some mods soon!

I'm due to pick up a 2005 mk5 gt 2.0 tdi 140 tomorrow evening, which the current owner was unsure when the cam belt was last done, so we haggled a bit on price as I will be looking to get it done straight away for peace of mind.

I'm told to get the aux belt & water pump done at the same time, does this sound right?

Also I've been getting quotes ranging from £360 to £700! any idea what I should be paying and does anyone have any recommended garages in and around east sussex? I'm down in eastbourne but happy to travel out for any highly rated places.

Eastbourne is far away but VDS performance is very good he is local to Gatwick and very knowledgeable. Well priced too. Might be worth a look  :happy2:

I've found a place very local called, vasstechnik not sure if anyone on here has used them?
