Hello All
New to Mk5 ownership. After owning a mk3 gti for over a year i decided it was time to buy something a little more refined with a bit more poke! Introducing my 2005 Graphite Blue Golf Gti. It's done a shade under 80k miles, full VW service history and from the service history present, appears to have lived it's entire life in Leicester. My intentions are to keep it relatively standard (For now!) as it's a daily. Personal Reg is on it's way OL55DUB (My names Oliver, If you hadn't Guessed) Hence the Username.

Welcome. I do like that colour.
Lots of good advise to be found in this forum if you do decide to start adding bits, however subtle.

Very appropriate shirt choice!

Looks very nice, good luck with it and welcome to the forum. :happy2:

Thanks for the welcoming comments. I haven't seen that many Graphite Blue Gti's around myself, is it considered fairly 'rare' amongst Mk5 Gti's?
My pressed plates arrived today, just got to wait for the V5 to arrive to stick them on!

Next on the list will be checking/ Replacing the Diverter valve as it's bound to have perished if not replaced previously? and a decent polish and wax

Looks nice, lovely colour.
Just be careful with those number plates - I learnt the hard way and am a £100 lighter because of them

Cheers Rholtby, I was under the impression they were road legal? Is this not the case?

Pressed plates are legal, just have to make sure you get plates with BS code on them.

Nice plates - when you can PM please let me know where they came from!
