Hi, after getting the bits fitted i have finally got it booked in for a stage 2 map at R-tech. :driver:
When i booked it in they said that i need to get the dsg mapped aswell - i wasn't aware that this necessary tbh...
Is anyone running a stage 2 edition without a dsg remap?
Thanks

think its to up the torque settings on the clutch packs more than anything.
if r tech say it needs it then it probably does, not the type of people to try and sell you things you don't need.
seen loads of people ask for stage 1 with dsg map and they've told customer not to bother with dsg map and spend there money elsewhere instead

Do it mate it'll be worth your while and as recommended by r tech and cheap enough :happy2:

If you go stage 2 without DSG map, your car will break.....
No joking, a DSG map increase the torque limit as the shift quickness. I don't think ive met anyone who regretted a DSG map tbh

That's for stage 1 as torque isn't as high as stage 2 :P

I ran stage 2 Revo without a DSG map for a while with no issues. Probably a less aggressive map.

Stage 2 is renouned for being a less aggressive map that stage 1.

iknow I was just using this as an example that r tech don't tell you your car needs something unless it actually does
