Title: How do I adjust scirocco tailgate bump stops ?

Hi guys,
It must be a sign I am getting old or it's the sun got to me ! 
Everything's getting more complicated, bought a pair of sprung loaded bump stops to do the hatch pop mod, messing with them, as you do, I have managed to get them on their shortest height but for the life of me I can't work out how to adjust them out again !
As usual there is going to be an easy answer to this but as sure as hell I can't work it out ..

There's a grub screw in the centre hole. 4 MM. I think unscrew that fully anti clockwise then use a flat blade screw driver to adjust the length by inserting it between even the base and the rubber and twisting it will pop out on a set of ratchet teeth then re tighten the grub screw
