Title: Stage 1 Smell

Since having a stage 1 remap for a couple of days i've been informed that the car smells as if it is burning oil when boosting, checked the oil and it seems to be ok. There isn't any smoke and drives all ok. A friend thinks it is potentially burning the cat, has anyone ever heard of this? going to put it on the emissions tester later on and see. Thanks

Did your tuner run all of the requisite checks before putting the map on and also after to trim up your settings?

Yeh they checked that there was no issues with the car, they done it at GTI international so not sure think they just flashed it tbh
