Since you fit the GFB DV+ to the original diverter valve housing, does it matter if you fit it to the rev D piston type or the rev G diaphragm type?
-
No. Same solenoid.
-
Thanks!
I'll stick with rev D so...
Next question if you know, without a boost gauge (but I do have VCDS) is there any way I can measure my boost on the current rev D before fitting the GFB DV+ so as I can compare?
-
You can use VCDS to make some logs of the boost pressure. :smiley:
Here's one guide that you can follow: https://www.goapr.com/support/datalogging.php (https://www.goapr.com/support/datalogging.php).

Perfect! Thanks @shoduchi
Any idea what range of boost I should be logging completely stock?

@lukemk5gti (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=10176) peak around 12 psi
P.S does this mean you're starting to go down the non-oem modifying route? :laugh:

Haha not just yet, going to keep her standard but I just want to update a few bits now so that down the line if I choose to I can do without much layout!
