hi ive got the mk5 tdi se and i find the  :happy2: is there anything you would rec that i can do to make it bit more quiet? newbie

It's a diesel, what do you expect lol. What do you mean noisy?

Its a PD diesel. They are noisy - if you want quiet, buy newer

If you have a 1.9TDI they aren't the most refined engine in the world but are stronger than the quieter 2.0TDI. You could possibly look at adding more sound deadening but as said you should probably look for a new car instead.

You're probably on the wrong forum for your question...plenty of posts here on how to get more noise from your intake or exhaust!

nothing you can do really, my mk5 is noisier than my mk4 was, and that was noisy enough

cheers guys ive sound proofed most of car now inside so much better and new sound system helped ha ha my mk3 wasn't so noisy that why probably notice it so much
